Humnashin - NOW STREAMING

Click Image To Watch So, Humnashin is out now. This song began with a melody composed by my father, Tushar. He wrote it without any grand plan of turning it into an acoustic indie song. I heard it, thought "that's nice," and then proceeded to build an entire song around it. The melody stuck with me for some reason. It felt simple, memorable, and quietly emotional. The more I worked on it, the more it felt like it needed a stripped-down acoustic sound instead of anything too complicated. Lyrically, Humnashin is about missing someone's presence. Not in a dramatic "standing in the rain at 2 a.m." kind of way. More in the "life feels slightly less interesting when they're not around" kind of way. Maybe they've gone away. Maybe they're busy. Maybe they're replying with one-word texts. Who knows. The point is that their absence leaves a gap. The song itself is also fairly low-maintenance. No explosions. No plot twists. No surprise rap...
